Curated, members-only plans. From dinner reservations to workouts to volunteering, we make it easy to connect over things you already love to do.

Experience Chelsea’s art scene with a curated path through the latest shows and openings. Take in world-class art at your own pace, then grab a bite with us afterwards.

The Plan

6:00 PM – Meet the group at David Zwirner Gallery to kick off the evening.
6:30 PM – Your Plan Captain will have a guided itinerary for the group to follow.
8:00 PM – Wrap up with dinner at Bottino, sharing good food and conversation after an inspiring night of art.

What to Know
• Group Chat We’ll add you to a private GroupMe SMS thread the day before to coordinate meeting up with the group. One of your fellow members (aka your Plan Captain) will be in touch with Closer to lead the way.
• Sign up as a Plan Captain Captains are Closer’s go-to person for small tasks that make group plans run smoothly—like grabbing tickets, finding the meetup spot, or keeping the conversation going. No need to facilitate—just show up, enjoy, and help things flow. Plan Captains get 25% off Closer Plans events.
• Bring a Friend Bring along a Closer friend and enjoy 10% off both tickets! Just give us your friend's name when you sign up.

Event Policies

Distraction-Free Policy
Closer is all about authentic connection. To keep the focus on the moment, we ask attendees to keep phones away during events. Let’s trade screens for real conversations.

Refund Policy
Refunds are automatically issued within 2–5 business days if an event is canceled. While we’re unable to offer refunds for illness, we do allow ticket transfers—just email us the name of the new attendee before the event. If an event is rescheduled, you can request a refund within 48 hours of the update if the new date doesn’t work for you. These policies help us keep Closer running smoothly and accessible to all.

Closer events are exclusively for Closer members. Want to bring a guest? Invite them to join Closer first!
