Meet Kelsey, a geopolitical analyst based in Petworth, DC. When she is not traveling to Asia she's always on the lookout for new reading groups and book clubs in the district. Hosting with Closer is her way of forming a community and sharing a love of food and conversation with new friends.

• What to Bring: We've got dinner, but this is a BYOB event. Please make sure you arrive with a contribution for your host- whatever you prefer to imbibe!
• Bring a Closer Friend: Bring along a Closer friend and enjoy 10% off both tickets! The discount will automatically apply at checkout when you purchase two tickets—just make sure to provide your friend's name when you sign up.

Distraction-Free Policy
Closer is all about authentic connection. To keep the focus on the moment, we ask attendees to keep phones away during events. Let’s trade screens for real conversations.
Refund Policy
Refunds are automatically issued within 2–5 business days if an event is canceled. While we’re unable to offer refunds for illness, we do allow ticket transfers—just email us the name of the new attendee before the event. If an event is rescheduled, you can request a refund within 48 hours of the update if the new date doesn’t work for you. These policies help us keep Closer running smoothly and accessible to all.
