Join us for a stroll through Chelsea’s latest shows and openings. We’ll take in the art, and see where the conversation takes us. 

About the opening: Clio Art Fair returns this September with two editions showcasing independent artists, live performances, and special opening nights featuring complimentary wine and programs.
Pre-meeting point: Meet the group at Café Aroma at 5:30 PM. It’s just around the corner at 500 W 25th St, New York, NY 10001.

What to Know:

• Group Chat: Please download GroupMe on [iOS] or [Android]. We’ll drop you into a private GroupMe thread the day before—your backstage pass to the night. And while there’s no facilitator, one of your fellow members (your Plan Captain) is the go-to for keeping things rolling. Basically, they’ve got the map, but you’re all writing the adventure.
• Sign up as a Plan Captain: Captains are Closer’s go-to person for small tasks that make group plans run smoothly—like grabbing tickets, finding the meetup spot, or keeping the conversation going. No need to facilitate—just show up, enjoy, and help things flow. Plan Captains get 25% off Closer Plans events.
• BYO Friend: Grab two tickets (for yourself and a friend, Closer member or not) for 20% off—just share their name, email address, and phone number at registration.

Distraction-Free Policy
Closer is all about authentic connection. To keep the focus on the moment, we ask attendees to keep phones away during events. Let’s trade screens for real conversations.

Refund Policy
Refunds are automatically issued within 2–5 business days if an event is canceled. While we’re unable to offer refunds for illness, we do allow ticket transfers—just email us the name of the new attendee before the event. If an event is rescheduled, you can request a refund within 48 hours of the update if the new date doesn’t work for you. These policies help us keep Closer running smoothly and accessible to all.
