Each Closer At Home has a unique dinner and discussion theme, curated by your host to match the vibe they create.

Join us for dinner and discussion. These casual, intimate gatherings bring members together at home for evenings of connection and conversation– open hearts and minds essential.

Your Host
Aleisha is originally from New Zealand and now calls Brooklyn home. Since landing in NYC in 2020, she’s lived in seven neighborhoods, worked nine jobs, and somehow still finds time to talk your ear off (certified yapper status: confirmed). By day, she works in corporate entertainment—so if you’ve got a list of top five movies, she wants to hear it. Hosting with Closer is her way of finding new faces and good company in the city.

What to Know
• Group Chat: You’ll be added to a private GroupMe with your host and fellow guests the day before the event.
• Host Address: The exact address will be shared via email the day before.
• What to Bring: We've got dinner, but this is a BYOB event. Please make sure you arrive with a contribution for your host- whatever you prefer to imbibe!

Event Policies

Refund Policy
While we’re unable to offer refunds for illness, we do allow ticket transfers—just email us the name of the new attendee before the event. If an event is rescheduled, you can request a refund within 48 hours of the update if the new date doesn’t work for you. These policies help us keep Closer running smoothly and accessible to all.
