Your Host
After six years on the East Coast, Erik’s back in Colorado. He’s already logged 23 ski days this season, summited 10 of the state’s 14’ers, and is training for an ultramarathon in September. By day, he works at an AI startup; by training, he’s a mechanical engineer (Go Rams). Outside of work, he’s all about food, travel, and adventure—whether that’s kite surfing in the Dominican Republic, training Muay Thai in Thailand, or diving cenotes in Mexico.
For Dinner
Dinner will be a hands-on, build-your-own taco night—with fresh tortillas from the tortilleria up the street, a spread of fancy salsas, and homemade guac that will be make together.

Closer is all about authentic connection. To keep the focus on the moment, we ask attendees to keep phones away during events. Let’s trade screens for real conversations.
Refund Policy
While we’re unable to offer refunds for illness, we do allow ticket transfers—just email us the name of the new attendee before the event. If an event is rescheduled, you can request a refund within 48 hours of the update if the new date doesn’t work for you. These policies help us keep Closer running smoothly and accessible to all.

Dietary Preferences
Closer at Home experiences accommodate gluten-free and vegetarian preferences. If you have other specific dietary restrictions, please inform your Closer at Home host, and they’ll do their best to make it work.
