Hot Chocolate Crawl in the West Village
Warm up this winter with a self-guided Hot Chocolate Crawl through the iconic West Village. With a curated list of must-visit spots, you’ll sample some of the most indulgent hot chocolates around while enjoying a leisurely stroll past the neighborhood’s beautiful brownstones and boutiques.

We’ll add you to a private GroupMe the day before, so you’re all in the loop. One of your fellow members will take the lead as your Plan Captain to help navigate the day.

Suggested Event Flow
2:00 PM  – Meet your Plan Captain and the group at Mah-Ze-Dahr Bakery (28 Greenwich Ave).  
2:15 PM – Savor their decadent Valrhona hot chocolate topped with a toasted vanilla bean marshmallow. Sip your first cup while connecting with other members. 
2:50 PM  – Walk to Bar Pisellino (52 Grove Street, 7th Ave S at, New York, NY 10014). Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the picturesque streets.
3:10 PM – Indulge in their signature Italian-style hot chocolate—rich, dark, and topped with unsweetened panna. 
3:35 PM – Walk to Sant Ambroeus (259 West 4th Street, New York, NY 10014). 
3:50 – 4:30 PM – Wrap up the crawl with their silky-smooth hot chocolate, finished with a swirl of whipped cream. Reflect on your favorites, snap a group photo, and bask in your newly gained expert opinion on WV cocoa.

Event Policies

Refund Policy
Refunds are automatically issued within 2–5 business days if an event is canceled. While we’re unable to offer refunds for illness, we do allow ticket transfers—just email us the name of the new attendee before the event. If an event is rescheduled, you can request a refund within 48 hours of the update if the new date doesn’t work for you. These policies help us keep Closer running smoothly and accessible to all.
