12:30 PM – Gather with the group at Caffé Palermo, located at 148 Mulberry St, New York, NY 10013.

1:00 PM – Join the 27th Annual Chinatown Lunar New Year Parade and Festival, which begins in Little Italy. The parade will proceed through the main streets of Chinatown, featuring vibrant floats, marching bands, lion and dragon dancers, and cultural performances representing diverse communities.

Festival Booths – After the parade, explore the festival booths set up along Bayard Street between Mott and Mulberry Streets. These booths offer a variety of cultural merchandise, traditional crafts, and delicious food options, providing an immersive experience into the rich heritage of the Lunar New Year celebrations.

Lion Dance Performances – Enjoy the traditional lion dances performed in front of small businesses throughout Chinatown, a ritual believed to bring good luck and prosperity for the upcoming year.

Refund Policy
Refunds are automatically issued within 2–5 business days if an event is canceled. While we’re unable to offer refunds for illness, we do allow ticket transfers—just email us the name of the new attendee before the event. If an event is rescheduled, you can request a refund within 48 hours of the update if the new date doesn’t work for you. These policies help us keep Closer running smoothly and accessible to all.
