Get ready to knock some cool stuff off your bucket list! At Closer, we’re all about soaking up the seasons with open hearts and adventurous spirits. Whether it's apple picking in autumn or a beach bonfire in summer, we plan seasonal adventures that bring you closer together. No need to stress about the details; just bring your enthusiasm and we’ll bring the rest.
What to wear: Wear comfortable walking clothes and shoes. If you choose to have a bag, bring a light one.
What to bring: Bring a battery pack to recharge your phone (if needed). Feel free to bring snack and food to share.
9:30 AM - Join the group at the Met Cloisters (99 Margaret Corbin Dr New York, NY 10040). Meet your facilitator and other Closer members.
9:40 AM - Walk starts at 9:40 AM. If you arrived late, please reach out to the group on the GroupMe thread. You're free to jump in and out when it works for you.
10:40 AM - Arrive at Morris-Jumel Mansion (65 Jumel Terr New York, NY 10032)
11:40 AM - Arrive at Vanderbilt Gate (5th Ave & E 105th St). Note: The gardens are closed for conservation purposes, but the gate is street side and boasts a lot of history. We will stopover for a drink or a quick bite somewhere on the UES.
2 PM - Arrival at Rockefeller Plaza (30 Rockefellar Plaza New York, NY)
2:40 PM - Arrival at The High Line (820 Washington St New York, NY 10014)
4 PM - Arrival at Battery Park (State St & Battery Pl New York, NY 10004). Wrap up, members are welcome to grab a drink or bite together after.
